A Community of Gamers
Warp hosts one of the most diverse, knowlegable and friendly gaming communities in the city (and, in my personal opinion, the world). If you're just starting out, there is almost always someone to help you along the path. If you're a seasoned pro, networking opportunities abound with our bulletin board, our many Organized Play events. Something is happening nearly every day, so stop by, talk to our friendly staff, and see what's going on, and when.
The Weeklies
A lot of our events happen each and every week. D&D Encounters happens every Wednesday at 6:00 and 8:00 at Warp One. Every Thursday, you can head down to Warp Three to play some Magic: The Gathering (Standard Type II). Each Saturday, Warp Two holds their own Magic event, and Warp One holds Advanced Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments. Check out our Tournament Schedule for more information!
An Enormous Selection
Our store is huge. With over one third of our floor space devoted to games and gaming, we have a nigh-ridiculous number of games to choose from. Whether it's something from our wall of board games, a non-collectible card game from one of our displays, a set of dice from the largest selection in the city, packs of cards for your favorite collectable game, or even a game of backgammon or chess, we've got you covered.
Big Events
Sometimes, a game down at your local store isn't enough. Sometimes, you need the thrill of opening packs you've never seen before, or throwing down with a brand new character against other players. For that, Warp offers a wide range of Big Events, things that don't come around every day. Keep an eye on our Tournament Schedule to see what's coming next!
Organized Play
There is almost always something going on at Warp. For the more dedicated players among us, we offer a range of organized play events. D&D Encounters, Friday Night Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! represent the most robust of the Organized Play options, but we are always looking for new and interesting options for tournaments and events. If you'd like to see an event for your favorite game, feel free to e-mail us and we'll see what we can put together.
Filling out the Days
There are three perfectly good days at the beginning of the week, and nothing going on. We're looking for options to fill them. Ideally, they'd be the sorts of things that don't require much in the way of supervision or monetary support from us, but if you've got a solid idea, we won't turn you away.
